Fitzroy Monochrome Graffiti Mural

Throwback Walls Series / No. 1

As part of the Grafficionado blog and Instagram we have decided to share some of the past graffiti murals and murals that we have worked on with an array of different artists, this post is the first of many throwback walls we will continue to share.. Watch this space!!

Monochrome Mania / Black & White

In 2019 we organised a paint jam off Brunswick Street in Fitzroy on Brunswick Street, on the side of Amarillo Fitzroy. Amarillo is a neighbourhood bar, with beautiful food and beautiful drinks. This wall and particular spot has a lot of traffic passing it constantly and is one of the best spots visibility wise on Brunswick Street so we wanted to make a big impact for the space and to have maximum effect for viewers looking at the mural from a distance.

This mural was painted alongside good friends and painting buddies; Phibs (@phibs_has_instagram), Sabeth (@s4be7h) and Dvate (@Dvate).  Good times were had with some minor vision issues during the process.
